Cures for Low Back Pain

In most cases, people who suffer from low back pain are not sue the low back pain causes. In order to check the causes, your doctor is more likely to test the range of your movements, nerve function and then touch your body to fix the painful area. However, if your low back pain is too seriously enough to limit you motions, your doctor may take other measures. To make sure that your low back pain is not resulted from an injection or other widespread medical symptoms, having a blood and urine test is necessary.

Cures for Low Back Pain

● Take a Hot Shower, Bath or Jump in the Hot Tub

Having a hot shower, or soak in the hot water of a bath tub or spa can contribute to relax and ease your spasm and tighten back muscles, which will reduce your possibilities to have back pain.

● Use a Heating Pad or Hot Compress

Place a heating pad or a microwavable heat pack on your back while having rest. Your muscles get relaxed through it, which will ease the back pain. What’s more, the heat also dilates blood vessels and capillaries, accelerate blood flow. Accelerating blood flow contributes to improve your healing process.

● Do not lift heavy furniture if you suffer from sciatica. If it necessary, you’d better use some techniques or skills to reduce the risks of hurting. Generally, overstrain is more likely to give rise to inflammation of nerve tissues. In this cases, you should avoid doing any heavy activities and let the time to cure you pain.

● If no improvement in symptoms has occurred for first several weeks, you’d better to visit your doctor about some optional treatments or physical therapy. Generally, your doctor may prescribe you some painkillers and suggest you have a good rest. It is more effective if you insist doing some stretch exercises at the same time.
